Special Beginnings
Caleb was born at Special Beginnings Birthing Center.
Special Beginnings' mission is to provide the women of the Dallas/Fort Worth area
with a woman-centered alternative to traditional medical settings for all of their
obstetric and gynecologic needs. The founder of Special Beginnings is Betty Winiford.
Betty is a Registered Nurse and a Certified Nurse Midwife. She has had intensive training
in midwifery, graduating from Parkland School of Nurse Midwifery and working over 20 years
in triage with pregnant women, labor and delivery and neonatal intensive care.
From a personal viewpoint she is a godly, conscientious, loving, health care provider who
